UGA Rugby is more than a team or a club or a program – it’s a FAMILY. We have fun together. We respect each other. We love one another and aren’t afraid to show it.
This is why we have a long tradition of players who stay engaged after they graduate. Our alumni and current players get together several times a year to play rugby, to support the club, to watch the Bulldawgs play, and to socialize. We remain active in each other’s lives for years – often decades – beyond college. The club’s impact on our members extends FAR beyond rugby. Athens, GA is widely known as one of the best college towns in America, with a beautiful campus next to a unique and fun-filled downtown.
And of course, this is the SEC, where football is basically a religion. At UGA, you’ll have the opportunity to experience what it’s like to consistently be in the mix for a national championship. Saturdays in the fall are legendary – the air is crisp and the atmosphere is ELECTRIC – especially when ESPN comes to town for College GameDay!
