Tennessee brought a very fit, very active team and put us under pressure for much of the game. They scored an early try, we responded with a Sean Catlett try to keep it close. When John Stafford was sin binned in the 39th minute we were down 24-5. Tennessee added 20 points with John in the bin to put the game well out of reach. Ryan Cook made a penalty kick in the 50th minute to close the scoring for us.

This was played as 3 30 minute periods. We started this one well with Eric Blades going 50 meters for a try in the 5th minute for a 7-0 lead. Tennessee responded with 2 first period tries for a 12-7 lead. They scored 4 more tries in the second period and 3 more in the third for a 53-7 final. We weren't able to put together any flow on offense and as such Tennessee had most of the possession.
