UGA 28 Auburn 15

This was a 60 minute game as the second of the GRU tournament. Auburn had lost to Clemson 22-10 in the morning game, finishing strong after being down 22-0.

Our forwards did a good job getting us clean ball in this one and our backs responded with some nice continuity. Andy Flage scored an unconverted try in teh 6th minute, Harrison scored one in the 12th to make it 10-0. In the 18th Auburn's excellent inside center scored a 40 meter try. In the 22nd and 25th we scored 2 more unconverted tries, one by Ryan on a pick after Harrison's strong 20 meter run, the other by Clayton after Andy broke a long run. Halftime was 20-5.

In the 39th minute Harrison made a penatly kick for a 23-5 lead. Then Auburn had a long break, Sean Catlett caught him on the goal line but was called for a high tackle and a penalty try awarded. 8 minutes later Nick scored a try off a penalty tap at 5 meters for a 28-12 lead. Auburn made a penalty kick to make the final score 28-15.
