It was an extremely windy day and we had the wind in the first half. We scored a try in the 17th minute, UNC responded with a converted try to make it 7-5. Then we scored 2 quick tries, one on a quick tap penalty by Marc Petrini in the 29th minute and then another by Harrison DeJarnett in the 33rd minute off a driving maul from a lineout, to go up 15-7. North Carolina scored an unconverted try as the first half ended. Half was 15-12.

In the second half UNC scored in the 48th minute to take the lead, then Kevin Wilson and Kellen Montgomery were sin binned within 2 minutes of each other. UNC took advantage and scored 3 tries through the backs with their 2 man advantage to blow the game open. They finished strong with 2 more tries (including one when they were down a man) to make the final score 56-15.

UGA 6 North Carolina 5

North Carolina's second side played a strong game against a UGA side that included several alumni. They scored a first half try with the wind at their backs to go into the half up 5-0. With he wind in the second half Nicholas kicked 2 penalties for the 6-5 win.
